His voice REALLY creeps me out

I agree - it's gritty and gravelly (and not in a pleasant way)! :) Hearing him is like having a scratchy throat yourself! *lol*

I like the way he speaks. An interesting actor, definitely one to watch.

Just saw SMOKIN' ACES 2:ASSASSIN'S BALL last weekend and was pretty impressed by the performance of the actor who played the main agent leading the other agents---saw his name in the credits and thought, "Hmmm,Clayne--that's got to be a Southern name,because it sounds like one." I was right---he is Southern---and not bad looking either. I only watched this because I liked the first SMOKIN' ACES--i didn't even know there was a sequel---too bad it wasn't released theatrically, because he was very good in this flick---especially the ending, which was cool and unexpected as all hell--I enjoyed that! Plus he wasn't bad-looking in it, either. The movie wasn't too bad either---it was like the first one with more craziness and twisted identities.

Like him and his voice...he will go places, truuuuuust me.

Not only his voice...but he totally creeps me out. I really dislike his face...he just looks mean. I really don't like him as an actor.

I've only seen him in Donner Party and his guest spots in Leverage and his voice was fine in both.
While shooting series 4 of Leverage some cast and crew had tweeted asking which of Eliot's "opponents" people would most like to see return and Clayne was the choice.

I just love the scene where Eliot goes to offer Quinn the job while he's been cuffed by his previous employers. His acceptance of "well as you can see I'm fairly unhappy in my current job situation" strikes a chord.
