No way he is winning, but nice to see him nominated.

shareWhy wont he win?
shareHe's pretty much the least likely to win from all the 5. All signs point to this being Leo's year, finally.
shareI really hope he wins and im not ready to say its a lost cause.
shareBryan will win eventually. Its just not this movie
shareHe is actually the best actor overall out of the entire category. Would be bonkers to see him win.

That's very debatable. It may end up as a race between DiCaprio VS DiCaprio, but, if you compare Bryan to the other three, the main con he seems to have is being his movie's only nom (had 'Trumbo' been nominated for Best Supporting Actress and maybe Picture and Adapted Screenplay, his odds may have increased considerably). I actually believe he may be the only one to pull an upset, if anyone can. If you think about it, his narrative is quite irresistible: Dalton Trumbo could never collect an Oscar in person, so why not allowing him to do so through Mr. Bryan Cranston? In recent years, there's often been a change of frontrunner in the Best Actor category later in the games, as the one who dominated the regional critic awards eventually had his thunder stolen by someone else (Clooney in 2009 and 2011, Ejiofor, Keaton). It can definitely happen, especially if you haven't actually won any of the big critic awards (which is Leo's case). Bryan may have a chance at SAG, since he's in the only film that's up for 3 awards including ensemble. If he wins it, that would shake things.
I still think DiCaprio's Oscar looks to be set in stone (especially if you take his film's 12 noms into account), but everything can happen.
I think he'll win the Oscar and greatly deserves it. Nobody came close to his performance.
