Just read the news, he was indeed in the new Star Wars movie as the stormtrooper who was under mind control by rey when she was captured.

yeah his scene was quite funny, i was pleasantly surprised that it was him who played the stormtrooper.
what this movie lacked in originality... at least it had in comic relief
yeah, that's a bit unbelievable. any idea why he did that? was it JJ's idea of Easter Egg or his own tribute to saga? or anything else?

They were NOT filmed during the same time.
Craig just visited the Star Wars set BEFORE he did James Bond.
