Juste la fin du Monde to screen at TIFF

Great news! Special presentations, no date yet. I hope the cast can be there, especially Marion. But with Desplechin's shooting I don't know if she'll make there.

Thanks !

Yes, I hope Marion and all the cast could be in Toronto !! Remember: the red carpet in Cannes was stunning !! :)
She just finished shooting Assassin's creed and now going to start filming the Desplechin's movie... We'll see...

You're welcome!

It would be amazing, yeah. I'm having high expectations that the film being French/Canadian could help Dolan receive César's nominations next year. If box office is good in France, maybe it can go somewhere? If the cast be at TIFF supporting him again it would be awesome!

Oh yes, it would be amazing for sure !!

I think The movie will receive more than a nomination next year !! Dolan'movies already have been nominated four times for César's foreign film and won for "Mommy" !! ;)

I'm french and I think the film's box-office will be good, expecting at least between 500.000 and 1.000.000 viewers, or more... Mommy which is Dolan's greatest success in France has made 1.194.684 viewers

And what end of a year for Marion in french theaters, with nothing less than 4 films in a row:

Juste la fin du monde : september 21
Mal de pierres : october 19
Allied: november 23
Assassin's creed: december 21

I can't wait !! :)

I hope so! Maybe the French cast will help it receive more nominations. Mommy doesn't seem as heavy as JLFDM but I think the French stellar cast and Cannes prize will boost it a lot so it can have a decent box office. I'm worried about competition though.

I'm happy for her having so many films too! Who knows Pierres doesn't go to TIFF too? Allied will probably have a festival screening in November only.
