When I saw her Sucker Punch promo pics...
I was like 'whoa!!' and I initially refused to believe that it was Abbie Cornish and secondly, she is like out-of-this-world stunningly hot!!!
I'm going to see that movie, I don't care if it's not on the same line as a thoughtful film would be, like Bright Star was (which I absolutely adored), I am gonna watch it for the story, the action and plus the costumes (Abbie's costume, IMHO, is the best and rocks out of the 5 actresses')
And for those people who say that making these kind of movies are not good for her career, well *beep* you. As long as they have fun and enjoy playing the roles, then that's fine. They're making the films for the audience's entertainment, even if some people might criticise it for it's cliches. As long as its not plain idiotic or half-heartedly done, I will go and see it. And judging by the trailer- I'm definitely going to see it. They can't just keep making films that are intellectually dramatic and look sophisticated on a resume, just make an outlandishly and refreshingly original film for once like Sucker Punch and that's what she did.
