Am I the only one that thinks she is really a bad actress? she is really beautiful, don't get me wrong, but I just saw Sucker Punch and I must say that she was pretty damn bad in that movie acting wise.

I haven't seen Sucker Punch but I recently watched Limitless and she was fine.
And people say she's amazing in Bright Star (which I want to see but have yet to). I recommend watching that and then tell us what you think.
Everything I've read would suggest she's quite a good one. The only bad stuff I've read about her is from Reese Witherspoon fans bitter about that whole Ryan Phillipe deal. IMO it's ridiculous as it's unproven plus she's surely better off without that douche.
No, she is quite good in Sucker Punch. Blondie and Amber were not good but that's because they're not supposed to be - they're supposed to be disposable in a way since we don't know anything about them anyway. The only ones that mattered were Baby Doll, Rocket, and her, Sweet Pea.

Hhhmmmm i guess i will have to check out other movies. I thought all the acting was terrible in Sucker Punch really maybe it was just the dialouge they were given that made her seem bad to me.

I HATED THE FILM WITH A PASSION, but I thought she was the best thing in it.
I'm instantly and fan and didn't even like the film that introduced her to me.
You really need to see Candy before you judge her. She was also fabulous in Stop-Loss and Bright Star. But overall, in any film I find her be an instinctive actress with very fine instincts. No matter what film, she stands out for the way she somehow imbibes her character with life and energy while not appearing to be acting at all.
BTW, I have no intention of seeing Sucker Punch but most reviewers single her performance out for being heads above the rest.

Abbie Cornish is a great young actress and I've not been disappointed yet with any of her performances. She is my country woman so I'm kind of biased but she was a standout in Suckerpunch and solid in Limitless. It's good that she gets roles in movies more people see lately but they are still an interesting style of movie. Abbie picks her movies well, she is versatile and a very interesting person.
