Killed it in Shameless

He absolutely killed in Shameless...

His, and Emmy Rossum's, character are the reasons I will be giving the show a second chance. I really like both of their characters, and their story seems like it will be really interesting.

Yes, it looks really good. But I'm also quite excited to learn more about Lip too.

He is only in 2 eps. IMO he was the easily the weakest part of the show so it's good he's gone. It was a good character but he almost killed it through his crappy, dull acting.

Do you know for sure he's only going to be in two episodes, or are you basing this off of his IMDb page where it only has two episodes listed under his name? IMDb is not always accurate, and people who pay to have the IMDb pro accounts are the ones who edit the information.

Based off of what we've seen so far, I can't imagine he'd no longer be on the show. There is a biography for his character and the actor up on Showtime's website. Can't imagine they would do that for a character who will only be around for two episodes.

In the UK version, Steve was around for a while. They might not do everything the same, but he'll definitely be in more than two episodes, for sure. Steve is pretty important, plot-wise, and I don't see the US version completely ignoring the story line and getting rid of him.

I like Steve and Fiona. Chatwin is no James McAvoy, but he's growing on me. :)

I was shocked at how much he's matured from Dragonball to Shameless. He's looking pretty hot in those shirtless scenes.

I couldn't agree more. They have great chemistry.

I found his performance extremely vain, contrived, and smug. Perhaps that's the character, however I certainly think he could have played the role with a bit more humility and honesty.
