If the character was written as a jerk, then he played the part well. It's the same with Joffrey from "Game of Thrones."

And then his annoying Superman qualities. Every time they need something he gets it. He always seems to have a spare everything. Douche with his punch face.

Jeoffrey is a character you want to beat to death, but there's nothing wrong with his face. That speaks good for the actor.
