May he have a peaceful transition. May GOD be with his family.
shareI was born in 1981 and I never lived through the hardship of his presidency. I do see him as a noble man who was just misguided in his policies. He had a great second life after his presidency for sure. Biden has been the second coming of Jimmy Carter but I won't show him the same respect once his dementia catches up to him.
shareBe careful with words. You can end up worse than both!
shareInflation was also bad under Nixon, Ford and Reagan. But Republicans like to blame Democrats for everything.

I always thought he'd be the first president to live to 100. Doesn't look like he'll make it now. He's been battling stage 4 cancer for a number of years now.
Here's wishing him a comfortable & peaceful transition
Good Riddance!
shareGeeeez, really dude?
Yeah he wasn't a great President & I certainly didn't agree with how he handled a lot of things, but he is a decent & honorable man who's done a lot of humanitarian work. He was a better ex-president than he was a president. I see no need for flippant comments like "Good Ridance". Grow the fuck up.
He is in hospice care now for his last days.
shareProbably less than that. He's 98! I think Biden, Trump, Obama and Clinton better be prepared to clear their calendars. A big question is, Will Trump attend? He has yet to acknowledge Biden as the legit President.
I happened to be working near Yorba Linda, California when Nixon died, and was able to attend the funeral, an impressive gathering on April 27, 1994, that included President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton, accompanied by former U.S. Presidents Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush, with Betty Ford, Rosalynn Carter, Nancy Reagan and Barbara Bush respectively. At the time, it was the largest gathering of US Presidents in history.
While lined up in the miles long line for the viewing (closed, flag-draped casket), I overheard someone say "Wow, this is impressive. Can you imagine what this line would be if he had been a popular president?"
This is so romantic
