Gerard Butler begins filming ‘Den of Thieves’ in Atlanta this week

Gerard Butler is getting ready to begin filming his next movie, Den of Thieves, in Atlanta, Georgia.
According to Extras Casting Atlanta, the movie will begin filming on Wednesday, Jan. 4. The company has been posting casting calls looking for stand-ins, men and women with military and law enforcement experience, “bad guys”, and luxury cars.

According to THR, Den of Thieves “focuses on $120 million that is taken out of circulation on a daily basis by the Los Angeles branch of the Federal Reserve and a notorious crew of robbers that plan the ultimate heist right under the noses of the city’s best cops.”

There was a thread with a link to an article/blog/whatever discussing why Butler isn't offered good roles any longer (or something like that). There had been a few replies to the thread, and then it was just gone.
