Are Adam Brody fans mostly women?

I'm a lady but I have several guy friends (straight, as well ;) that like his humor and movies. Everyone is different and its all preference, but I think he's a great actor foremost, its not about thinking he is dead sexy or anything.

Its probably assumed he has mostly female fans because he started off in the O.C. and Gilmore Girls, but, all the aforementioned straight dudes loved the O.C. as well. And three of them are marines...lol.

I think the type of male stars that have mostly female/gay fans are those that are models too or are always showing off their manly hot bods in movies. Adam Brody has never really done that (far as I know, anyway).

Random but I know a few Marine/Military men who also loved the OC... I wonder what that's about.

i am a woman, but as mer2323 said i know plenty of guys who loves him,some of them try to dress up like seth cohen too, some teenage girls i know who are absolutely crazy about him,so i will say adam brody has fans in all age groups.

Really? That is interesting! In fact one of the Marines is actually who originally got me into the O.C. and liking Adam Brody/Ben McKenzie. A bunch of big burly men used to have an O.C. night at his house and I just sort of stumbled in on it one night and was hooked. This was a weekly thing, and I was the only girl!

I think they liked it mostly for the comedy, and Seth Cohen because (back then) he was such a unique character. Ryan also had a good "manly/tough guy" element they could connect with. Maybe it helps that the two main characters were guys and so the show was kind of from their POV, where as most dramas catered towards women the main characters are women with typical girl problems, and the men are sort of around for drama and eye candy? It would be harder for guys to connect with that, I guess.
