Why do people want her as Anastasia Steele

I don't think she would be a good pick and she is a little old. I think Lily Collins or Shailene Woodley would be better picks.

Why do people want her? Probably, because she looks the part. If she would be a good pick; her most prominent roles mostly feature some sort of 'goody two-shoes' characters, nothing too juicy. But, maybe that's part of her appeal.

Career wise it would be a bump up for her or any actress, whoever gets it, 'cause: !!! -Major Franchise- !!!

She certainly does look the part, and is innocent looking. She may be a bit old for the part, but she still looks like she's in her early twenties, and has flawless skin. At first I thought she was too innocent to do the kinky stuff that is performed in the book... but then I saw her on mad men and changed my mind.

Because of Rory Gilmore. If you watch Gilmore Girls, you'll see Ana. Rory was very intelligent, innocent, sweet but also sexy and incredible gorgeous. I think we all want her to be Anastasia because of Rory but also because Alexis may be a bit old for the part but she doesn't look like a thirty something year old woman.

hahaha. ideally,bledel is the ultimate ana. fan favorite. when i was reading the book i could totally picture her out. cmon.31 is only just a number. she doesnt even look old..look waayyy to young than her age. but the only qualms with her is nudity/sex scene. she doesnt seem into it.-_- hopefully, she will consider it. it would be a challenge also to her as an actress. from innocent looking girl to kinky girl haha

Alexandra Daddario would be much better. Bledel is barely even relevant anymore with every film in which she was the lead being a major flop. Only the ensemble Sisterhood of a Traveling Pants movies didn't outright flop. Bit parts in Sin City and others don't count.

lol a bit? More like WAY too old. This woman IS and LOOKS 32. Besides the fact that she is too tall for the part, she also does not look like a 22 year old. Yes she looks like Ana, if Ana was 32.
