I was saddened to see he's got fat. I am hoping it's a fat suit he's wearing.

I can't wait to see Bernie. I think he'll be on top form again! But having said that he was good in The Big Year.

I don't believe he wore a fat suit in Bernie. The wardrobe chosen for him was meant to make him a rotund fellow which added to the comedy of his character in my oppinion. Perhaps they added some padding, but either way I thought he was great in this movie. Maybe even deserving of an Oscar nod.
