What was the deal with the faux English accent he was doing? R.L. Stein is from Ohio.

I have no idea why he was doing an english accent. Maybe the character was English. Not sure if there is a book of the film. Sorry I cant answer your question.

The character Black was playing, R.L. Stein, is from Ohio. So I assume that Black decided to do the accent on his own which honestly makes no sense.

No I have no idea either. Maybe he thought if he did that accent it would make him more sinister.

I'm guessing you've never been to England. I know no one here who sounds like him.

I've been to England, and Black's faux English accent was atrocious. But I don't understand why he did an accent at all since Stein, the character he played, is from Ohio.
