criterion channel - viva & love witch

the love witch & anna biller's earlier film 'viva' are now streaming on the criterion channel. i believe both were just added today.

the love witch is also streaming on kanopy, at least in my region.

i've seen both many times, & probably won't revisit them again any time soon, but it's nice to know they are out there in the streaming world for all to see.

if you've seen & enjoyed the love witch & haven't seen viva, it's absolutely worth a watch. it isn't as elaborate in its costuming & style, but it inhabits the same skewed, loopy universe. i find its feminist messaging a touch too heavily applied, more so than the love witch imo, but it's still a very fun, highly enjoyable watch.
