FFS, Joe gave one of the best speeches of his career last night starting at 11:30pm. He had a five minute standing ovation. He cracked a couple of jokes, he talked movingly about his commitment and service to the United States as a country that he values above the amount he values and loves his job. He called out Trump’s hypocrisies and dangerous acts.share
He couldn’t do that if he was sundowning.
He doesn’t have dementia of any type.
He hasn’t quit. He has an aggressive set of goals he wants to accomplish before his term is up in January and he passes the torch to (I hope and assume) Kamala.
You want to complain about policies, complain about policies. You want to complain about mental incapacities, first admit that Trump’s abilities to communicate and concentrate, not to mention stay on point, are extremely limited. Then maybe you might have a point to make. As long as you choose instead to pick on the capabilities of someone who has never been an inspired speaker but has always delivered on his promises, you are not worth paying attention to.

It was obvious when he was campaigning in 2020 that he was cognitively sinking. That probably wasn't even the beginning, but I wasn't paying attention to him prior to that.
