any news on manu?
I remember seeing him as Marc Antony on Xena and he did really good on The Marine. Is there anything new about him so far? I know he has two movies coming out next year.

Manu just finished filming 30 Days Of Night in NZ about 2 weeks ago. :)

It doesn't say he is playing Spartacus himself at all. It says he is playing an "offsider" (sidekick presumably) of Spartacus. It sounds as if it is one of the main roles but it's not the lead.
Rather surprised that there is no other casting news though. I think this has only come out because he is a Kiwi going home for it.
He's playing Spartacus' best buddy - the two of them will the ones who follow thru the 6 season series.
It's one of the central/main roles, and probably has the most interesting character arc.
