After seeing all the attention that Lucy hale is getting, it dawned on me that Troian is PLL's Leighton Meester. She's the show's best actress and plays a far more interesting character than the show's breakout "star" yet is overshadowed by Lucy Hale, who is sort of becoming PLL's Blake Lively.

i think leighton is not a very good actor actually but i get what your saying, and i agree.
its funny, they actually remind me of each other lookswise- baby faces and the same coloring and long, wavy hair.
i also agree about blake however ashley also reminds me of her strongly, the fun blonde that likes to show off her boobs, lol

i agree with the poster who says that leighton is not really a good actor. outside of the show anyway. But Troian is much more interesting than Leighton it seems. Like she has more substance. But yes I think I agree with you.

Troian is far too plain-looking when compared to Meester, and she doesn't have that spark. Not saying she isn't good or anything though.
shareLeighton doesn't have that spark since her films tend to be crap and her music career planked. But she is more glamorous. But I think Troian is interesting and edgy. And she moved me in her short film Lauren. So I can't wait to see what she does with her career. I like that she's a bit off kilter.

Blair/Leighton was the far more interesting character. And Leighton in my opinion is GORGEOUS while Blake is average/attractive. Whatever.
I get Lucy Hale is pretty. But that's ALL. She has a gorgeous face. And is one of the WORST actresses on PLL and on TV. And she takes the character of Aria which is very interesting in the books, and makes the character totally and completely flat and disconnected. Shes AWFUL. Why on EARTH is she a break out star? Shows that everything is about looks. They take Troian's actual talent, interesting character and her unique looks for granted. Lame.
Lucy Hale should be a model, not an actress. She has NO RANGE.
Troian is the best actress on PLL, but there's no need to diss Lucy. She's a phenomenal actress, as well.
