If Jimmy Stewart and Jerry Lewis had a baby-It would be Jay Baruchel. I’m a fan. I like him in SHE’S OUT OF MY LEAGUE, FETCHING CODY, REED FISH recently and other films. He does the low-key-underdog-hero-type well. I just saw REAL TIME for the first time and he has these same signature, patented traits that are cool but don’t always transfer well from role to role, in my humble opinion. (Even Jerry Lewis could drift from Nutty Professor to Buddy Love-the alter ego). Does Baruchel play straight leading men types that don’t mumble, do double takes and say “aaahhh” a lot? I’m looking for the variety in his work-Please point me in the right direction (film). I'm just asking. Please be gentle in your "reply" -I am a fan.
