LLL: Were Performances affected by Election?
I did wonder if the actors would be so upset by Trump's victory that they found it difficult to perform or if people who had booked tickets just didn't turn up. I've heard no news of smaller audiences, so perhaps they still turned up to take their minds off things. But, something odd did happen in one of the shows which might have indicated that Ryan's and RA's minds were not quite on the job in hand: Ryan broke one of her cigarettes when she tried to light it and RA broke off the stem of his wineglass as he placed it on a table.
According to Veloce, his Korean fan who produces some lovely gifs and who was there, both actors coped with these accidents very smoothly. Don't know what Ryan did but RA drank the remaining wine in the glass and then upended it on the table: he got a laugh and a round of applause.

And I'm sure it cheered them up that Ethan Hawke and his wife were in the audience. I wonder if the audience feel that the play speaks to them more under the current circumstances? After all, Trump is a baby-boomer.
And it looks as though RA was also cheered up greatly at the SD when he received another pair of painted trainers from the same Chicago fan who did those LLL shoes for him. This time they were decorated with a Berlin Station motif:

I'm sure that friends have pushed her to market them because of the interest and copies of both are now on Etsy:

However, he thought that a beautiful plate offered by another fan was a present but, when he went to take it, she grabbed it back and said she just wanted it signing, LOL:
