It's not as bad as going from Katie Holmes to Maggie Gyllenhaal in TDK, but still.

I definitely agree with your assessment of Ms. Adams. I was thinking the same thing while watching BvS. I also feel she is placed in roles that would be more fitting of the talents (and beauty) of Isla Fischer.
