Amy's Fun Characters

The first movie that made me aware of Amy Adams was Enchanted (2007). I loved that movie and her in it. Then I saw Night at the Museum 2 (2009) and the Muppets (2011) and thought loved her characters in those as well. They were all great characters that were adorable, spunky, and could outshine the main actor (Ben Stiller, Jason Segal). Plus, she can sing!

While I haven't seen a lot of her dramatic roles, I have seen her in American Hustle, Man of Steel, and Batman v Superman. I also know she's been nominated for several Academy Awards.

Yet, I miss the days of her lighthearted, fun, uplifting movies and would really like to see her take on some more roles like that. Anyone else agree?

I think she nails anything she's been in so far (except for Superman. but not her fault at all). I would love to see her do a comedy once more. That's right

you should look into her earlier work like Junebug (first Oscar nomination) and Drop Dead Gorgeous

while not a comedic performance per se, look at The Fighter
