I loved the Star Wars movie!

J.J. Abrams did a great job capturing the spirit of the original trilogy. The humor and feeling were there, and I really felt for the characters! I'm so glad this movie exists. It restores my faith in the series. Thank you so much! -Mary

I definitely had fun watching it, but found it too pedestrian in terms of story for me to truly love it personally.

All the new characters worked for me. I love the weird dynamic between Rey and Kylo. I loved the humor. I loved the feeling of jeopardy and vulnerability when Rey first faces Kylo with the lightsaber.

The most important thing for this movie for me was that it be entertaining and have an emotional through-line. I loved Rey and Kylo as individuals, but I also like their dynamic. This was the through-line that made the whole movie work for me. The humor and the action took care of the entertainment.

It was the Star Wars film I'd been longing for for half my life. Now I pretty much forget the prequels ever happened, they were like a bad dream.

I've loved Abrams ever since he made Star Trek, and Super 8 intensified that feeling. I was jumping for joy when I heard he was going to make a Star Wars film, I knew it would be awesome and he didn't disappoint.
