You can take Owen out of Dallas, but you can't take the Dallas out of Owen. Yay-bob!

shareI haven't ever seen him state a political preference. You might be referring to when he mentioned that Vince Vaughn is a Republican.
shareI thought Republicans were supposed to be pro-life?
shareWho cares?
shareI love how this is presented in all caps and supposed to have the effect of something like "PEDOPHILE". Look I'm no republican but the liberals who are intolerant that someone else could have another view in politics and harass those people for it online are fkn despicable!
shareRepubliChristians (a wealth-worshiping cult found mainly in southern and mid-western America) are pro-BIRTH. They could care less about a poor or disadvantaged child beyond that. I am very anti-abortion outside of medical necessity or the results of rape, etc ad nauseum. Progressives know that the decision is the mother's, that it is already an emotionally-devastating situation for her, and she must live with it. Republicans want to PUNISH this person ever further. The mother is poor and can't afford to raise the child, so she must go on government assistance, after which Republican policies make it ever so difficult for her or her child to dig out of the institutional evil towards children and women that is in the very DNA of the Republican Party. Progressives are not only pro-LIFE, but pro-GOOD LIFE. Life is, by nature, very unfair. Republicans want to add to that unfairness by making policies that help the very wealthiest and those who do not need help, and kick the already-disadvantaged when they are down, so they will stay down. RepubliChristians are pro-BIRTH. Progressives govern as Jesus Christ would.
