One of my favorite films is Hamburger Hill. It is one of the best Viet Nam war movies ever made. Though it got corny and a bit preachy at times, it was still great. It didn't get the exposure it should have. Vance was great in the film.

Good actor, memorable first role and I expected him to be a bigger star.

He was great in that one,but Preachers Wife and Joyful Noise are Awesome must see movies. Thank you for your part Mr Vance.
But that bitterness and dissension actually occurred amongst African Americans in 'Nam according to my Uncle...a Vietnam vet.
