I'm an actor and director so I can safely vouch for the first part of the statement. As for the second part; well the guy fabricated a relationship between him Jennifer Love Hewitt and dated Lindsay Lohan, I think it's pretty safe to say he's a dick.

An actor hey? Who are you, what have you done? I say that you would not be the one to ask. Either you are most likely jealous, or are trying to bring him down. Chances are, your just a *beep* nerd.
Red team.
Because if The Matrix has tauught us anything, blue is for quitters.

Typical misconception that fame equals talent. Two words for you buddy: JOHN STAMOS.
I can't, and refuse to, speak for myself (I consider it bad form) but working in the theatre day after day after day I can tell you that there are thousands of actors out there who have ten times more talent in their pinky fingers than some of the people you see in the newspapers. It's just the nature of the beast and one of the, in my opinion, very few cons of the industry. I don't care for fame and fortune, I do my job because I love it, I would do it whether I were offered £500 a week or £5mil a week, so long as there's enough money for me to live I don't care.
But one thing I won't stand for is some schmuck trying to penalise my right to an opinion over another actor's capabilities, just because I am also an actor and their skewed sense of what does and doesn't make a good actor leads them to accuse me of jealousy.

Hmmm, on review, i may have been a bit of a foul dick before, and i apologise. Yes, people can do that over the internet... Had a real horrible day when i posted that. You still come off as a bit arrogant, but i came off as a total bastard, which i hope i am generally not, so like i can talk. I do agree there are a lot of people who are famous, yet suffer from a severe lack of talent, and while Valderrama is not the greatest of thespian actors, he is not truely horrible, in my mind. Hence, what inspired my rant. Again, i apologise for coming across like the bastard I'm not, and you keep doing whatever you do...

Well thank you for your apology. And let me assure you I do respect your opinion, I just have a differing one and saw this as the appropriate place to comment.
And I apologise for coming off as arrogant, but that really is an actor thing. We are all pretty arrogant and egotistical, it's the nature of the job, we generally quite insecure and crave attention and praise. So it comes with the job! There is no such thing as a modest actor; some are just better at keeping their ego in check. I like to think I'm one of those, certainly in person I know I am, but on a message board where you're afforded a certain amount of anonymity it can run wild a bit I'm afraid!

Don't fret, his 15 minutes of fame were up about five years ago.
shareFatt_Abbot...WOW. I want to commend you for doing something that hardly anyone around here does when they offend someone, either intentionally or not. Your apology to the other poster gives me hope that there are nice people out there who can appreciate someone else's opinion. Kudos to you.
As a side note..I love your signature! There is a tiny typo, tho. You put 2 u's in the word taught. Just thought I would let you know.
