yeah it's a mystery to me. in 1992 my thoughts were she'd be huge, at the top someday, maybe similar to where angelina jolie was for a while. but then, never materialized. i think i heard it was self-imposed due to her choice to go raise her kids, or something. i think i read that; may be wrong

Does her character die in Cliffhanger? I can’t remember.

I've only seen a few of her films:

Cliffhanger (1993) - One of the best action adventure films of the 90s
The Ambulance (1990) - Average mystery thriller with Eric Roberts
The Curse of the Inferno (1997) - Decent comedy with Pauly Shore

I didn't think she had a big enough career to really 'fall off', I think she's more of lesser known (but still decent) actress.

I don't see it. She's still working.
