David O. Russell is the new Phil Spector

Give it a few years, if we are lucky. He has the Phil Spector mindset and we will eventually be watching his trial. Maybe he will watch the Spector trial and see himself, then get help.

Get over it as far as Tomlin's reaction to his rage. She's been a professional far longer than he has been an adult. By the time he hit age 20 her credientals were more than established. If he was smart he would have asked her how to play it and maybe the movie would have been better.

Some people on this board just need to grow up, or wait until they are adults to get on this board with their comments and over the top accusations.

Lily Tomlin is probably one of the most creative people on the planet, and the director didn't even know how to make the best use of the talent he had on board.

The only thing I did'nt like about the film was Mark Wahlberg's character, Tommy Corn.
I felt the character was lacking. The storylines were going off on tangents when he was introduced and
his character and did'nt pull together the storylines well, or with any humor.

He's a fireman. So what. Do you really want to see a fireman complain? Why did he have
to be a fireman? Could'nt he have been a Bounty Hunter?? Something more interesting??

Someone explain that to me. Was it all because Schwartzmann set Jude Law's house on fire?
When writing backwards you need come up with something better than that.

I still think it's a damn good film.
