Lily, you and David going at it on huckabees was awsome

NOW THATS A MOVIE. that was awsome. Everyone was so fresh and free and all this prozac induced filmmaking had an injection of adrenaline. That was wonderful.

Now, if you can put two hours of that kind of raw emotion on the screen and I'll spend my ten bucks to see it. I even liked the tech assistant cowering int he corner , that made the scene even better.

I'd buy this movie.

Lilly, that was awsome. Thanks for allthe years of entertainment.

Yet she was kind enough to scream at the director on-set in front of everyone during a flippin take.

Yeah, she's real nice.

From all the stories written and told about the director, it seems pretty much a given that he deserved it.

More power to her!!!

I would understand her flipping out at just the director but then she flips out at her coworkers? That is unnecessary. I thought that was really unprofessional, I mean I've heard the stories about the director so that may have been justified.

reply

Yes, exactly. He was absolutely psychotic, she less so. She was going toe-to-toe with him, and that's one thing, especially when he was heaping abuse at her. But then she tells her co-stars to f uck themselves. This woman was unprofessional in the highest order. Russell was deranged, so he's on another level, a level where he should be committed to a mental institution. But, Lily Tomlin was grossly unprofessional herself. Unequivocally so. Was Dustin Hoffman raging like she was? Naomi Watts? Mark Wahlberg? No.

WHATEVER!

What, just for once in your life can't you be serious?

reply

There's a whole other video where she tells Dustin Hoffman to "shut the *beep* up" and she says to Naomi Watts "*beep* you too" and throws a used Kleenex on Mark Wahlberg. She was pretty nasty.

But the director was totally out of line, childish, and probably won't have very many people willing to work with him.

Have you read the accounts on what happened BEFORE and AFTER that stuff, though? That's the thing about YouTube videos - they never get the whole story. Lily is still chummy with all these people; actors are human too and have their moments of frustration, especially when the director is...well, like Russell.
