has she finally come out of the closet?
I thought I read that she admitted it recently as she has been with the same woman for years now.

I believe she "officially" came out on some program a few years ago, but it was always kind of known. She insists that she NEVER deceived anyone about her orientation and her involvement with Jane Wagner; the journalists of the time just weren't interested in publicizing that aspect of her life. There are a couple old articles that DO mention it...and really all one had to do was listen to a specific track on her Modern Scream album to figure it out. I mean this was back in the mid-70s and I can't believe people are STILL shocked to learn about her sexuality. These days she seems to have no problem talking about it in interviews if asked, but she's not all in-your-face about it as her private life is technically irrelevant.
It's quite impressive that she's been with the same person for nearly 40 years. God that's beautiful.
