Anything against homosexuals?

The rumors that used to float around claiming he was gay never registered with me, because based on his movies, he seems fairly anti-gay. I have no way of knowing whether Jason Statham is homophobic in his personal life, but it seems like every other movie I see him in, he's either dropping slurs or a gay character bites the dust. Viewers who frequently use the word "fag" in their everyday life or see a greater spectrum of his work probably don't notice this as much, but it's pretty apparent to me.

I know ol' Jason isn't in complete creative control of all his movies, and for all I know he doesn't even take note of these trends, but after seeing examples of one or the other in at least six of his films, it's becoming kinda irritating. Does anyone know if's he ever voiced any opinions on the matter?

Tbh A LOT of guys use terms such as "fag" a very small minority are actually homophobic... I think when most guys say phrases like "you fag" or "that's so gay" homosexuality is the farthest thing from their mind.

Well every actor gets the gay rumour. Statham did anger GLAAD for claiming superhero movies are for fairies.

I am sorry, but using the term "fag" is homophobic. The "a lot" of guys that use it are being homophobic. They might not mean to be homophobic, but they are.

A lot of people also use the word "retarded" or refer to things as "ghetto." Just because the bigotry is casual does not mean it's not bigoted. Lots of gay people are still called "fag" when they get the *beep* kicked out of them by homophobes.

Well, it's almost 2013, so I really couldn't give a fùck about people's lifestyle choices. I'd only be upset about it if he was still porking Kelly Brook.
