Rebecca was by far the best Mystique.

I think Rebecca played it far better because she spent 90% of her time as Mistique but Lawrence being so popular spent 90% of the time playing Lawrence.

I have to agree it's not even close Rebecca was by Leaps and Bounds the best actor to play that role.

Rebecca was far better. But there was no way she could portray Mystique as a teenager. So they had to go with someone younger. At least Jennifer did the role justice.
Except for the last appearance. I think that was a waste and it doesn't work with the narrative. But she wanted out and they decided to make it permanent.
