I LOVE Norman and love his character Daryl, but I'm not really loving the hair :/ I like his hair cut shorter and spiked. I know they're on the run and in a kind of apocalyptic world (you know, no hair gel) and the 'do is probably meant to reflect that, but I just think he looks better with shorter hair :) Hoping they cut it soon or find a better style if they want to keep it longer...

Still, he's a hottie and by far the WD character with the greatest arc.
I liked his hair in series one. Where it was lighter and shorter - it sort of made him quite boyish. I think his hair at the moment makes him look a bit haggard and aged - and as scruffy as it is - it also looks too 'coiffured' (excuse the spelling)

But I think this kind of criticism is warranted (unlike a load of the tripe thats going on on TWD board) for the sake of continuity. The only sensible hair continuity in the whole of TWD is Hershel's ponytailiness (and beardiness) and Shane's buzzcut in the second series. If Daryl's hair had have grown out naturally from series 1 - it would be down to his shoulders by now. No - he's had a haircut - but it seems that in the middle of a zombie apocalypse he's actually specified to the prison hairstylist that he'd like to have his hair cut in a 'New Romantic' kind of style. There will of course be a reason for it (I actually think the hair started to go awry towards the end of series 2 - it definitely went a LOT darker) probably due to other filming he was doing at the time.
Don't get me wrong - I still love the show and Daryl and Merle are my favourite characters - but the hair thing is just a bit daft!
