Not as interesting as he used to be...

From season 1 to around season 4 of the walking dead he was the best and most interesting character in the show. His long greasy dark hair and beard and cave man like appearance is too much!
I preferred when he had the short blonde hair and didn't grunt as much as he does now. I don't really care if they kill him off now, I really don't.

I think you will find that you are in the minority. His character has grown emotionally and wisely and I think his pureness makes him half of the heart of the show.
