Jay’s a trooper, and a cooler guy than people realize or give him credit for.
The money means very little to him. His only real indulgence is his cars. He loves his cars.
But he loves making people laugh even more. Ironically…..he’s a lot like Johnny in that regard. I get the sense he’d do stand-up for no fee at all. He just loves loves loves what he does—making people laugh.
I think Jay is a lot more even tempered and cool than Carson. Seems like from what I've read Carson was, or at least could be a massive prick. Jay seems to always retain his cool, that's what I like about him.
