shareI could imagine him in almost any role that someone else did a great job with because he was so good and versatile he could do anything. Speaking of Ryan Gosling, I think he would have been great in Drive. His quiet brooding natural nature would have suited the role perfectly. He also would have been great in La La Land.

shareHacksaw Ridge- Garfield resembles Desmond Doss much more than Heath does, so this one is a no.
La La Land- Gosling is very good in the role and I think Heath would've been just as fine.
Hacksaw Ridge- Casey seems more of an everyman actor than Heath did, which fits the part of Lee Chandler better.
Nocturnal Animals- Haven't seen this one but I think he could've done fine.
