Doing almost nothing?
I was a fan of his before Fringe, and became a huge fan during it's run, and was expecting to see him more afterwards. He is a great actor, I'm surprised he has been so quiet.

shareWhat will "The Affair" be about? Any news on that?
shareFringe sure did that with Josh.
No, it didn't.

Dude it's about an affair! It is called the affair, what do you mean what is it about?
shareI thought he was good in the movie “One Week.” He’s handsome, charismatic. He should have been a bigger star imo. He was in the running to play Batman in the Nolan trilogy. That role could have changed his life
shareHe’s waaayyy to good for Batman, of course that’s what I thought of Christian Bale too. That type of movie just doesn’t allow an actor to express much depth of character and still maintain the target audience that are attracted to superhero movies, no slam on them as I like superhero movies too!
Josh has always been an emotional actor and that’s what I like about him, he can portray that in such a natural, relatable way. He doesn’t get employed as much as he deserves or maybe he is more picky about the roles he chooses since I’ve never seen anything that was a poor performance from him.
My thinking is that playing Batman would have enhanced his box-office appeal, which would have then garnered him more roles from film studios. Bale after Batman made a lot of quality movies, including his Oscar roles in “The Fighter,” “American Hustle,” “Vice”. He also made movies like 3:10 to Yuma. Playing Batman opened doors for Bale imo
shareOh I definitely agree with you, it would have made him more A list and more people would know of him and he’d get more work off of his popularity.
I think of that in my own life to, there are always choices in our lives that if we chose differently or something shook out differently we’d have a completely different life . . .but would that different life be more or less fulfilling? I wonder if he’s happier being the type of actor he is rather than more well known, more famous and having a different kind of audience?
