Across all industries, it’s natural that the most popular export is always going to catch a degree of flak from fans who misinterpret respecting success as a mark against your taste. Yet in recent years, it seems that the disdain for Eminem has gone beyond being ‘too cool’ to admit fandom and veered into disrespect. Now, hip-hop’s perception of Em has mutated to the point where he’s now as discredited as he is celebrated.

No, it's obvious from the video, most of it is racial, against the white pioneers of Hip Hop. All I see is animus from black rappers that a white man is better than them.

Bullshit. Eminem is the greatest rapper, tied with Biggie.

If hip hop doesn’t respect Eminem hip hop can go piss itself.

Eminem is a master rapper. Nobody was better, the guy set fire with words.
