Anne Hathaway says she has Christopher Nolan to thank for saving her Hollywood career after criticism swelled over her 2013 Oscar win for Les Misérables.

Overexposure.

Same thing happens with every actor who is in everyone's faces every day. Eventually people are tired of them and start hating them. Same happened to Jennifer Lawrence. And many others.

Smart actors know a time when they have to vanish for a while for people to have a rest from them. Lawrence deliberately vanished from spotlight for a while. And shows up when she has something to promote.
