I don't mean to be direspectful, cuz I think he's a great guy, but is he gay? He isn't married and says he doesn't date much. There's nothing wrong with being gay, I'm just wondering.

Hate to ruin it for some of you, but I knew him for several years at Duke, and he is straight. Glad to see him doing so well.
shareGay or straight I would love to have him for myself. This guy is so pretty and yet manly, and sexy yet adorable!
Now if your not married and do not date alot your gay?? Ohh, so that is how gay is now defind??/
Mellybrooks is right. I've known Bailey since 2003. He keeps his dating life very private...as it should be. He is definitely straight.
shareWhat Bailey Chase is, is a good actor and a very brave man.
Rather than rushing to the media to say "but no, I really am straight," Mr Chase has just delivered a searingly powerful yet understated performance on Law & Order SVU as **SPOILER WARNING! SPOILER WARNING! SPOILER WARNING!** a closeted gay athlete. During the episode, his character is victimized from all sides... from a hatemongering right wing shockjock to a promoter clearly grappling with internalized homophobia, from the police to a group of gaybashers, from the medical establishment to the girlfriend who he was "forced" to date ... all while dealing with brain damage and the loss of his husband who he actually thinks he has murdered.
His final line in the episode is "football gave me everything; and took it all away." I would guess that Bailey Chase has a friend who is a closeted athlete. Either that, or he is just a really cool, sensitive, caring guy who believes that America's social witch-hunting of gay men is wrong. Period.
No matter what, I for one think we should thank actors like him who choose roles that make the viewer think. If just one person who sees his appearance on SVU ends up learning to treat gay men with more compassion and tolerance, then Bailey Chase has done a favor to us all. THANK YOU MR CHASE.
