I've been doing this all day, posting Congrats to Emmy nominees (the ones I want to win anyway), not that they'll get it, but just for fun. The minute I saw her on Law and Order: SVU, I knew she would get a nomination. It was a brilliant performance and she should be very proud. It is her first Emmy nomination and a well-deserved one at that. It's nice to see veteran actresses of her stature still getting recognition so late in their career.

shareShe was excellent in her role. She played a rape victim who comes out of hiding after Maxwell Sheffield, uh I mean, Charles Shaughnessy is accused of raping a woman. Apparently he raped her and beat her up way back in the late 60's as a violent teen, so the detectives track her down and bring her into the court case to testify.
I don't know if she'll win the Emmy, but she certainly deserves it! She even spoke French dialogue with Connie Nielsen during the interviewing process.
