So it's possible she's living in NY, but it's also just six hours from NY to Paris.
She was in Le Divorce a few years ago with Kate Hudson, Naomi Watts, Stockard Channing, Matthew Modine and Sam Waterstone (I wonder if he suggested her for the role in Law and Order) but that was filmed in Paris.
Leslie Caron owns a delightful hotel in France. It is called A"uberge La Lucarne aux chouettes." There is a splendid web page, worth visiting!. It is designed with the most exquisite taste.

She owns a rather nice bed & breakfast south of Paris. The website is lesliecaron-auberge.com. She bought it a few years ago with her son.
