Just saw her

Saw her in Philadelphia yesterday at a Q&A for the new memoir she has coming out. She looks beautiful for her age and she was funny at times and spoke fairly eloquently. It was a thrill to see her in person.

OH MY GOD! That's wonderful to hear! That you just saw her! I love her! I think she was a brillant dancer and a wonderful actress as well, with a beautifull sense of truth and honesty in her work as an actor and dancer.

You're lucky indeed! I wish I was there too. She's truly a living legend.

I vividly remember the day I met Leslie in San Diego. I was the head cashier where I worked and cashed a check for her. Everyone in the office wanted a copy of that check! That was in the late sixties and her popularity was still very high.

Lili is definitely Leslie's most loveable role. Gigi may be her most memorable, but five years later she had lost the magic innocence playing a role comparable in age but by then too young for her. Anyway, she grew up in the most delightful way!
