I've looked ever where on the internet and haven't found anything. I think that it is Leslie that plays the voice of Maria in the French dub of TSOM.

I don't know about that, but she was on the short list of actresses to play Maria, along with Audrey Hepburn, Shirley Jones and Anne Bancroft, but Julie Andrews was always the first choice.

I don't see her as an obvious Maria, but she would have been perfect for Liesl, had she of course been several years younger...

I usually don't read or care for "who would be..." posts, but this is perfect, never crossed my mind...
