Unfortunately, there are several of hers' I have yet to see such as Lili. But of the ones I have seen, I thought she was wonderful in Gigi, The Glass Slipper, and Father Goose (cute movie). I saw An American in Paris, not my favorite, but it was still good.
What are the favorite movies she was in of the others here?

An American in Paris was one of the first musicals I remember seeing on TV as a child. I loved it so much I learned how to play the music on the piano. The last time I saw it, I didn't like it quite as much. Gene Kelly is a great performer, but his acting isn't as good.
I also liked Daddy Long Legs and Gigi. When I was young, I thought they were very romantic. The older man-younger girl theme didn't bother me. We all seem to have different standards now, and it's harder to accept the big age difference.
I'd like to see Father Goose and Fanny.
Fanny, Gigi, and Lili are my favorites, not necessarily in that order. L also like American in Paris and Daddy Long Legs.
I met Leslie Caron a few years ago at her hotel in France. She was very nice and even filled my water glass. I had an article on my visit published in Senior Magazine. It was a great experience.

I love "Daddy Long Legs," but then I love Fred Astaire, the original book AND Leslie Caron. I think Leslie and Fred have "wonderful chemistry" as they say (sorry to use that overused phrase, but that about sums it up).
For sentimental reasons my favorite Leslie's film is LILI from 1953. I was 8 years old at the time I saw it and it still remains as one of my favorites. Along the years, I should say decades, I've seen thousands of movies, but Lili remains among my favorites. I guess this feeling comes from the superb performance...she made it seem so simple and profound.
DADDY LONG LEGS, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, FANNY, GIGI, THE STORY OF THREE LOVES, FATHER GOOSE, are also among my favorites from the 50's and 60's.
In 1974 "QB VII" was released for the television, with an excellent performance by Leslie Caron.
Her role as Mme. De Saint Marne in Danielle Steels' "The Ring" is also excellent...Class and elegance just made for Leslie.
And more recently, in 2000 and 2003 her roles for both CHOCOLAT and LE DIVORCE are remarkable.
Definitely Daddy Long Legs.

I loved Fanny,but I think that Father Goose w/Cary Grant is great because they are both so attractive & whats not to like about that. They both had alot of class
