Yes, that was her. I had forgotten what a really talanted woman she was. It was nice seeing her again.

I wished she'd had a bigger part, and as someone said in another thread, it would be interesting to see her in a juicy villainess role. I hope she will work more, here (USA), now.

I also thought Caron was great in this role. It is interesting that a lot of her roles in recent years have been on American television, rare for an actress of her age but rarer even more for a French actress of her age. I thought she was nothing short of amazing in this role, so much emotion and so beautifully played. I hope she gets the Emmy for it (she was nominated) and that it leads to more work for her. Many actresses get very dramatic and overplay as they get older. She has gotten even better, very very subtle and intense at the same time. She left musicals to get to act in more dramas. Almost 50 years later, she keeps showing us she is one great actress.

Yes, it was LC. I just saw a re-run of the episode, and I was blown away by her acting. She was superb in this episode! This is what a true actress can do. Pity that the pop-tarts currently being passed off as actresses can't be required to learn from this woman.
