Alicia Witt is a very talented actor. So why isn't she a bigger star. She has talent, looks, and a smile that can light up the screen. But yet she's not a big time star.
More people know about Kristen Stewart and the Kardashians. But not Alicia Witt. Sad.
No question that I have NO IDEA why Alicia isn't a major star. Her acting abilities are incredible, she is an incredibly beautiful woman with an attitude (at least in her acting style, but I'd bet that is carried over from her real life).
I have been INCREDIBLY ATTRACTED to her since 'Cybil' (which is somewhat embarrassing since at least 25 years older than her).
Did I use the word 'incredible' a little too much.
But in any event, the woman has shown, at least to me, that she can really act.
Just about to start watching season 5 of Justified, which I've watched twice already, and while there is no question that Michael Rapaport's performance dominates season 5, everytime Alicia shows up, she just lights up the screen.
And she was SO, SO GREAT as the 'D-Girl' in The Sopranos.
I get the impression that acting isn't the driving force in her life, as from what I have read, she is an (one more time) INCREDIBLY intelligent human being, and has MANY other skills besides acting.
Alicia, my best wishes to you, and I hope you are happy, yet somehow I get the feeling that you are not. I hope I am wrong in my last assumption.
