What happened to her career?

Can't really speak for her other work but I definitely didn't find her character at all likeable on her short lived 5 episodes on Criminal Intent, and apparently I'm not the only one.

Just caught a rerun of one of her 5 episodes of Criminal Intent. I just can't figure out if they purposely made her so very unlikeable, or if it's just what she personally brought to the role. She talks like an immature sorority girl, she's argumentative with everybody including a judge and her own partner and captain, and she spouts off commands to anyone near her. And this is someone who just transferred in to the major case division from Brooklyn, so she wasn't even used to working in Manhattan or with high profile cases. It's just not believable that such a snotty immature little know-it-all would be a detective to begin with, especially as a seasoned major case detective. But it looks like the producers saw their mistake pretty quickly and pulled her. Why else would she come and go so fast, never to return. Even for a franchise that has a steady rotation of changing ADAs and judges, and CI in particularly flip flopped evenly between two pairs of star partners in later seasons, it seemed abrupt. I guess they took a chance on how she would fit, she totally sucked, and they sent her on her way.

Maybe doing all those insufferable Hallmark Christmas movies? She way overacts. And she is so phony in them. She looks like she had toothpicks propping her eyes open. She plays a naive wide eyed "I love Christmas" at 40, it's ridiculous. And a female Santa pretending to be a boy. They didn't even show her speaking parts as Santa they were so bad.

You DO realize that acting is her SECONDARY job, right?

She concentrates primarily on singing/music.
