Loved Profiler
I loved both actresses on were the leads but Ally Walker was the "Profiler" and it was not fair to theotehr actress. Who ever thought it was a great idea to get rid of Ally was an idiot.

shareI Loved This Show... It Was My Most Favorite!
I Have A Certain Curiosity For Life That Drives Me And Propels Me Forward, Rachel McAdams
they didn't get rid of her. She got married to some NBC executive and she decided to not act anymore.
shareThanks for the heads up. I had heard so many different stories.
shareAlly met John Landgraf in 1996, they married and had their first son in Sep 1997. It's my understanding that the gloom and doom of "Profiler" got to her - she just didn't want to spend her days like that. (I guess the low quality of the writing in the third season helped in the decision making.) I figure that in between 1999 and 2005, apart from "For Norman" documentary, she wanted to focus on her family.
shareI remember PROFILER, mainly because I enjoyed seeing Walker whenever I got the chance. I have seen several movies she appeared in, including one she starred in and that I have a particular weakness for, WHEN THE BOUGH BREAKS. Not a great movie, but she is one fine lady and gives a heckuva performance as a damaged investigator. I own a copy. Martin Sheen costars. There is no question it was a low-budget knockoff of SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. I can think of worse movies to imitate.
shareWell I heard that one of the biggest reasons for her departure was that she wanted a movie career. She made the tv series Profiler! I didn't like the other actress that replaced her. And it was quite obvious that no one else liked her since the show only lasted 1 season after Ally left.
