Ally is a respectable actress and respectable actresses don't usually do that.

Yes I know she is a respectable actress. If you actually see Just Looking, you see she does not just jump in front of the screen butt naked, she is in a pool, and you don't actually see her. It's done very respectably.

Well have you taken a look at the crap Julianne Moore has done
over the years? It's not like the nudity has helped her
be respectable. Foster on the other hand has always been
good. Stowe decent. Watts, fair, and Christie has always
been good. However it's true, nudity is frowned upon.

It all depends on what kind of nudity the actress is doing. If the nudity in the movie helps to move the plot, or emphasize the situation, then it's a good thing. However, it's when the nudity is gratuitous, when it has no purpose other than the nudity itself, that's when it's not a good thing.

I agree with your general prohibition. But if the character--or audience--needs to be startled by the audaciousness or inappropriateness of it, then, yes, some degree, depending on the story, would be called for. It can even create moral outrage.
